Job Description

  • Roles & Responsibility
  • 1. Manage day-to-day operations of New York store ensuring the company's operation guidelines, efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction
  • 2. Monitor and analyze sales and other performances, including KPIs, sales trends, and traffic, and identify opportunities to improve sales and profitability, including promotion and marketing
  • 3. Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve business goals and processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • 4. Oversee and manage inventory, including inventory level, ordering (DO), and data recording by utilizing SAP and POS system
  • 5. Collaborate cross-functionally and communicate within cross-departmental to ensure the seamless execution of business plans including partnering with the Merchandising team to ensure relevant products are in the store to drive revenue.
  • 6. Manage controllable costs and adhere to approved budgets within the business plan.
  • 7. Troubleshoot store operational issues in a timely and effective manner, including communicating with external parties.
  • 8. Supervise, train, and motivates store staffs, including managers and front-line employees
  • 9. Mange monthly revenue closing and general admin works for retail business including store audits.
  • 10. Ensure a positive customer experience through staff interactions and store presentation.
  • 11. Provide regular reports to upper management on store performance, sales trends, and other key metrics.
  • 12. Perform other ad-hoc duties and tasks related to Retail Business.

Qualifications

  • Education:
  • - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field preferred
  • Experience:
  • - 3+ years of retail management experience, preferably overseeing multiple locations.
  • - Strong ability to collaborate with both internal and external partners including retail store staffs
  • - Excellent communication (verbal and written) and project management skills
  • - Must be extremely organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
  • - Highly proficient in MS Office programs
  • - Self-motivated, resourceful, "can-do" attitude
  • - Must be legally authorized to work in the United States of America
  • - Must be able to travel domestically and internationally
  • Skills & Abilities:
  • - Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English is a strong plus.
  • - Passion for IP products, character brands, or K-pop-related merchandise is highly desirable.
  • - Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • - Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • - Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
  • - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales and market trends.
  • - Customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering outstanding service.
