Job Summary

  • The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, logistics, and customer service within our 3PL environment.
  • This role will manage inventory, optimize workflows, lead warehouse and operational teams, and ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining high service levels.
  • Additionally, the position will oversee resource planning, vendor management, and financial performance to drive operational excellence and cost efficiencies.

Job Description

  • - Warehouse & Logistics Management:
  • o Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping.
  • o Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • o Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels through audits and cycle counts.
  • o Implement and oversee warehouse management system (WMS) usage for operational accuracy.
  • o Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with transportation providers and clients.
  • o Optimize warehouse space utilization, labor efficiency, and operational costs.
  • o Ensure at least 98% on-time inventory accuracy rate.
  • - Operational Oversight & Process Improvement:
  • o Coordinate and manage daily operations across customer care, warehouse activities, and logistics.
  • o Identify and implement operational improvements, leveraging Lean, Six Sigma, and automation.
  • o Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for warehouse and logistics efficiency.
  • o Drive initiatives to reduce operational costs by at least 10% annually without impacting service quality.
  • o Ensure full adoption of technology tools, including WMS, scanning, and automation.
  • - Team Leadership & Development:
  • o Recruit, train, and mentor warehouse and operations staff to maintain a high-performance team.
  • o Assign tasks and monitor staff performance, providing feedback and coaching as necessary.
  • o Foster a positive work environment with strong communication and teamwork.
  • o Enforce adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company policies.
  • o Maintain warehouse staff turnover below 10% annually and ensure all employees complete training within 30 days.
  • - Customer & Client Relations:
  • o Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding warehouse and logistics operations.
  • o Ensure client SLAs and service level expectations (SLEs) are met or exceeded.
  • o Address client concerns and provide timely resolutions to operational challenges.
  • o Provide weekly and monthly performance reports to clients and senior management.
  • - Financial & Vendor Management:
  • o Maintain warehouse operational costs within the allocated budget and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • o Ensure 100% invoice accuracy and submission within 48 hours of service completion.
  • o Manage relationships with vendors and 3PL partners to ensure high service levels, with a minimum 95% KPI adherence.
  • - Safety & Compliance:
  • o Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring adherence to OSHA and workplace safety guidelines.
  • o Conduct safety training and enforce proper handling of materials and equipment.
  • o Investigate workplace incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • o Ensure all workplace incidents are reported within 1 hour, with CAPA implemented within 48 hours.
  • Working Conditions:
  • - This position may require occasional travel to various 3PL provider locations.
  • - Must be able to work flexible hours to accommodate different time zones and operational demands.
  • - Working Hours: M-F, 8AM to 5PM

Qualifications

  • - Speaks Korean (required)
  • - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • - 5+ years of experience in warehouse and logistics management, preferably within a 3PL environment.
  • - Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • - Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control processes.
  • - Experience with shipping, receiving, and transportation logistics.
  • - Ability to analyze data and implement operational improvements.
  • - Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • - Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and compliance.
