Job Summary

  • Company seeking a Construction Engineer with a background in electrical or mechanical engineering to support facility expansion and project execution.
  • This role involves on-site technical support for equipment installation, piping design, construction review, and problem-solving.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English is preferred.

Job Description

  • - Review engineering drawings and support mechanical/electrical designs for plant facilities and construction projects
  • - Review and manage shop drawings, specifications, and technical submittals
  • - Provide technical support during installation and commissioning of equipment
  • - Support schedule management and quality control, and communicate with vendors and subcontractors
  • - Design and revise piping, pump, instrumentation, and sensor systems
  • - Evaluate and implement design changes and improvements on-site
  • - Quickly analyze technical issues during construction and provide solutions
  • - Communicate with Korean headquarters and global stakeholders
  • - Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or project managers

Qualifications

  • Education, Training, and Skills Requirement:
  • - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • - 1+ years of relevant field experience preferred
  • - Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, Fusion 360, or Creo
  • - Experience with Python, LabVIEW, LTSpice, or other simulation tools is a plus
  • - Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Korean and English
  • - Strong sense of responsibility in meeting project goals and deadlines
  • - Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Excel preferred
  • - Ability to collaborate across departments and work in a dynamic team environment
  • - Good interpersonal & communication skill
  • Work Environment
  • - Work takes place in both office and industrial construction site settings
  • - May occasionally be exposed to noise, vibration, or hazardous materials
  • - Must follow all safety guidelines during equipment installation and site activities. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • Employees are responsible to perform duties related to generating and storing hazardous waste in satellite accumulation areas. Must remain within regulatory and internal compliance when using, handling or segregating hazardous materials and waste.
