About Our Client

Job Summary

This position is responsible for the sale of Starex and Infinio products into the automotive segment in the Southeast US region.

Job Description

  • - Manage assigned accounts.
  • - Develop and increase sales revenue and profit to meet assigned targets.
  • - Initiate and maintain the relationship with end-users and/or targeted customers with technical knowledge, account strategies, planning and administrative responsibilities to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • - Develop new customers, define potential sales targets, close new opportunities.
  • - Become actively involved in a new customer orientation and sales training programs.
  • - Act as a resource to customers in application development opportunities and proposals.
  • - Keep informed of new products, services, market trends, and other general information of interest to customers.
  • - Check on competitive activity and develop new methods of attaining targeted customers.
  • - Troubleshoot problems regarding products provided.
  • - Answer questions from customers and handle complaints.
  • - Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
  • - Demonstrate knowledge of and support mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and the code of ethical behavior.
  • This position does not have supervisory responsibilities but requires collaboration with colleagues in automotive team.
  • 40% of job duties to lead the direct auto sales effort in Southeast US Region and meet MBO targets annually.
  • 30% to identify, grow, maintain business and relationships with Korean Auto OEM's and Tier's in the Southeast US and Northern Mexico regions.
  • 25% need to work with company distributor partners to grow business in the region.

Qualifications

  • - Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Chemical Engineering, Management or equivalent number of experience
  • - Must have 5yrs + years of experience with plastic resin sales or related field
  • - Hold valid driver’s license for business trips
  • - Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook
  • - Professional sales training or certification a plus
  • Able to travel about 50-70%
  • Bilingual in Korean is a MUST, Spanish language is a preferred.
