Job Summary

Job Description

• Month-End/Year-End Closing:
• - Lead and manage the preparation and execution of the financial closing process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• - Ensure all deadlines are met for monthly, quarterly, and annual closings as per company and regulatory timelines.
• Team Supervision:
• - Supervise and mentor a team of accountants, providing guidance on closing procedures, task prioritization, and problem-solving.
• - Conduct performance reviews and support team development to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Financial Accuracy & Compliance:
• - Review account reconciliations, accruals, and adjustments to ensure accuracy and adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• - Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and external audit requirements.
• Process Improvement:
• - Identify and implement improvements to the closing process to reduce cycle time and enhance reporting quality.
• - Collaborate with IT and finance teams to optimize accounting systems and tools (e.g., ERP systems like Oracle, SAP, or others).

Qualifications

• - 5-7 Years related experience in Finance field.
• - Korean bilingual
