Job Description

• - Operational Oversight: Coordinate and manage daily operations across customer care, warehouse activities, and logistics to maintain high service standards and cost efficiency.
• - Problem-Solving: Address operational challenges in logistics and warehousing to ensure consistent performance and customer satisfaction.
• - Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including customer service, warehouse staff, and logistics teams, to align efforts with organizational objectives.
• - Resource Planning: Support resource allocation, scheduling, and forecasting to meet the dynamic needs of 3PL operations.
• - Client Relationships: Maintain positive relationships with clients and vendors, ensuring smooth communication and operational excellence.
• - Process Improvement: Assist in implementing Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• - KPI Tracking: Generate and monitor key performance indicators and operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and ensure goals are met.
• - Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to operational staff, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
• - Training and Development: Support onboarding and training initiatives to build a knowledgeable and capable team.
• - Reporting: Prepare and share routine operational updates with leadership, highlighting successes, challenges, and improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

• - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
• - Experience: 5+ years of experience in 3PL operations or a similar logistics/supply chain role.
• - Leadership Skills: Strong organizational and communication abilities with experience in team coordination.
• - Problem-Solving: Proven ability to resolve logistical challenges and implement effective solutions.
• - Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with operational tools, data analysis, and performance tracking relevant to logistics. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent software.
• - Process Improvement: Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is a plus.
• - Interpersonal Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• - Ethics and Accountability: Demonstrates integrity and a commitment to maintaining high operational standards.
• - Full-Time On-Site Employment
• - May require occasional travel to various 3PL provider locations
• - Must be able to work flexible hours to accommodate different time zones and operational demands
• - Location: Joilet, IL
• - Hours: M-F, 8AM-5PM
