Job Description

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, Cal/OSHA, and other regulatory safety standards by
  • conducting regular audits and inspections.
  • ? Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work
  • environment.
  • ? Conduct safety training and presentations for new hires and existing employees,
  • covering topics such as PPE usage, emergency procedures, and hazard recognition.
  • ? Investigate workplace accidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions
  • to prevent recurrence.
  • ? Maintain and update safety records, reports, and documentation in accordance with
  • regulatory requirements.
  • ? Collaborate with production teams to identify potential safety hazards and implement risk
  • mitigation strategies.
  • ? Lead emergency preparedness initiatives, including fire drills, evacuation plans, and first
  • aid/CPR training.
  • ? Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials in compliance with OSHA
  • and EPA regulations.
  • ? Serve as the primary point of contact for safety-related inquiries, inspections, and audits.
  • ? Continuously monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to keep the company’s
  • safety programs up to date

Qualifications

  • ? Bilingual ? English and Spanish (fluency required)
  • ? degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field (preferred) or
  • equivalent experience.
  • ? Strong knowledge of OSHA, Cal/OSHA, and other relevant safety regulations.
  • ? Experience conducting safety training and presentations.
  • ? Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to workplace safety.
  • ? Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • ? Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and
  • presentations.
  • ? Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • ? Authorized to work lawfully in the United States
