Job Description
- - Evaluate Commercial-Auto insurance coverage based on claim report, the insurance policy, applicable statutes and case law to determine if a claim can be accepted as within coverage
- - Identify key issues and investigation required
- - Review and Verify claim payment & case reserves suggested by our Third-Party Claim Administrator
- - Effectuate prompt and accurate payment to claimants and manage expenses to our Third-Party Claim Administrator
- - Select and manage defense and coverage counsel
- - Contact and provide claim-specific guidance/direction to Field Adjusters if necessary
- - Be alert to insurance fraud and implement special procedures if fraud is suspected
- - Interact successfully with co-workers
Qualifications
- -Education: Bachelor’s Degree (minimum) or above
- -Experience: Property & Casualty Insurance Claims
- -Attributes: Strong work ethics - Honesty, Diligence, Responsibilities, Ability to interact with managements, work in a team or independently
- -Language: Bi-Lingual (English and Korean) ? Native or Proficient
- -Computer Skills: MS Office, any prior experience in Insurer’s policy and/or claims system
