Job Description

• 1. Category Design Manager is fully responsible for the success of the collection
• 2. Analyze weekly sales reports and take action accordingly
• 3. Manage the category design team members - train and ensure personal growth as well as staff needs.
• 4. Together with other Category Design Manager and Jack & Jones creative team in charge of upgrading the collection and defining market needs for the Chinese market.
• 5. Together with other Category Design manager actively participate in definition of Main concepts and Trend stories, together with color card
• 6. Together with other Category Design Manager and Creative team organize and participate in inspiration trips and supplier visits.
• 7. In charge of collection hand off to Jack & Jones buying team including fabrics, color ways and style brief
• 8. In charge of sample reviews.
• 9. At sample stage, actively participate at approval process with Creative team
• 10. Keeping sample deadlines and control of Salesman
• 11. Co-operate closely with Jack & Jones buying team.

Qualifications

• 1. Bachelor degree in fashion design, or other relevant experience
• 2. Excellent English speaking and writing skills
• 3. At least 5+years'experience within fashion design (menswear experience mandatory)
• 4. Excellent in using Adobe Illustrator (a must), Photoshop and MS Office
• 5. Very good commercial understanding
• 6. Good communication skills, team player and be good at expressing ideas
• 7. Used to work with deadline, and can work under pressure, well organized
