Job Summary

Join our R&D team as we expand into the Latin market with innovative, culturally authentic products. As an R&D Food Technologist ? Latin Market, you’ll be instrumental in developing new food products and refining existing ones to bring the essence of Latin cuisine to our customers. This role is an exciting opportunity to help a leading Korean brand grow its global presence through products that celebrate and capture the flavors and spirit of Latin cuisine.

Job Description

• - Research, develop, and create new food products specifically tailored for Latin American consumers, as well as improve and adapt existing Nongshim products.
• - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Production, Quality Assurance, Marketing, and Design to bring product ideas to market.
• - Stay current on industry trends and technologies; recommend innovative concepts to enhance product offerings and development processes.
• - Maintain accurate documentation of research, trials, and final products to support quality and consistency.
• - Develop a deep understanding of Latin flavors, tastes, and culinary culture, integrating them authentically into new products.
• - Keep informed on food trends, ingredients, safety regulations, cooking technology, and regulatory compliance to support the development of safe, high-quality products.

Qualifications

• - Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
• - Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or equivalent experience is preferred.
• - 1-5 years of experience in R&D within the food manufacturing industry, ideally focusing on Latin American markets.
• - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) and food processing software.
• - Authorized to work in the United States.
• - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
