Job Summary

This client is seeking a permanent, full-time Market Research Analyst for the current location of the company at Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

Job Description

• The specific duties of the this role include the following:
• - Identify and define the objective of an assigned market research project; determine the best methods to use to meet those objectives.
• - Collect data on consumers, competitors and market place and consolidate information into actionable items, reports and presentations.
• - Draft questionnaires, surveys, and other data collection resources.
• - Devise and design qualitative and quantitative custom market research projects; perform qualitative and quantitative analyses to identify opportunities for product expansion.
• - Apply statistical techniques to interpret data and produce substantiated recommendations.
• - Identify potential new products or markets through research.
• - Forecast and track industry marketing and sales trends based on collected data.
• - Work cross-functionally to build relevant primary research collection tools for customers; work with the teams to devise future commercial strategies based upon findings.
• - Advise management on new innovations in the area of market research, and create new ways to meet the needs of a changing marketplace.
• - Use online market research and catalogue findings to databases.
• - Compile data related to competitors' products such as pricing, sales, and marketing or distribution methodology.
• Proactively share and present market research reports and data analysis throughout the company.
• - Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include a Master's in market research, business administration, business analytics, statistics, economics, marketing or related, or a Bachelor's in any major plus 5 years of full-time post-baccalaureate experience in marketing, analyst for business or data, market research, or related.
