Job Description

• 1. Complete product development, procurement and production, responsible for the product development process, orders, price strategy, etc.
• 2. Ensure commercial success (sales growth and profits) for the categories responsible according to the objectives set by the management team.
• 3. Responsible for pricing, profit, delivery and quality across all categories (key performance indicators)
• 4. Manage, lead and develop teams of purchasers and technicians, balance workloads, lead and coach purchasers, and ensure teams are up to the job
• 5. Development of procurement strategies, identification of suppliers and selection and pre-qualification of suppliers
• 6. Responsible for the development and maintenance of clothing and fabric supplier library.Ensure competitive prices, good quality and craftsmanship.
• 7. Collaboration with foreign and local designers and design managers on sample development, new trends, fabric sourcing 8.
• 8. Timely assessment of supplier and buyer performance.
• 9. Expand local (China supply market map) and international supply market 10.
• 10. Ensure effective cost breakdown and continuously optimize procurement prices.
• 11. Responsible for procurement planning, reflecting delivery times for fabrics and garments, and responding quickly according to category procurement plans/strategies.Ensuring production capacity through procurement plans/strategies.
• 12. Overall responsibility for sample development and fitting/structure.Ensure proper fit and balance of the category according to established standards.
• 13. Internal reference guide for developing target prices by category
• 14. Optimizing the supply chain (suppliers and sub-suppliers)
• 15. Optimization process (internal/external)
• 16. Control lead times, negotiate and execute supply agreements
• 17. Identify and follow up supplier key performance indicators
• 18. Follow-up budget
• 19. Represents and communicates the best-selling code of conduct

Qualifications

• 1. More than 8 years of experience in clothing industry procurement/marketing and at least 3 years of management experience
• 2. Experience in knitting and knitting/thick weaving and padding
• 3. Experience in cost control, delivery time control and supplier management. Supplier resources are preferred.Solid fabrics and technical knowledge must also be available.
• 4. Good understanding of traditional brands and EC businesses
• 5. Good sense of fashion
• 6. Fluent in spoken and written English
• 7. Short-term travel is possible
