- -Conduct comprehensive research on total streaming music royalties paid for master and composition
- copyrights.
- -Analyze and interpret complex royalty data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- -Collaborate with internal teams to collect relevant financial and licensing information.
- -Utilize data analysis tools and methodologies to extract insights and trends related to music streaming
- royalties. (Utilize data analysis tools and methodologies such as SQL, Python, or R, to extract insights
- and trends related to music streaming royalties)
- -Prepare detailed reports and summaries outlining royalty payments, trends, and variances.
- -Stay abreast of industry changes, licensing agreements, and streaming platforms to remain informed
- about the latest developments.
- -Work closely with cross-functional teams to support decision-making processes related to royalty
- distributions.
- -Contribute to process improvements for enhanced efficiency and accuracy in royalty analysis.
Qualifications
- -Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Data Science, or a related field.
- -Proven experience as a royalty analyst or in a similar role within the music industry.
- -In-depth understanding of music royalty structures, licensing agreements, and streaming platforms.
- -Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or R.
- -Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
- -Effective communication skills to convey complex royalty data to diverse stakeholders.
- -Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
