Job Summary

Our client is hiring an Operations Assistant, who can support Logistics and purchasing department. This position includes duties of handling documentations regarding Inventory control, demand / supply, procurement, and customer service.

Job Description

  • (1) Logistics / Inventory
  • - Monitor all inbound / outbound logistics processes and documentation
  • - Customer Communication
  • - Establish and maintain a strong relationship with other departments as needed on logistics processes
  • - Participate and assist in overall company-level inventory data and analyze/report best scenarios of inventory optimization,
  • - Analyze current logistics and operation procedures and suggest improvements to increase supply chain efficiency,
  • - Identify optimal shipment and transportation routes focusing on consolidated view in both warehousing and distribution
  • - Monitor the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; identify qualification checkpoints of the new suppliers in collaboration with other departments,
  • (2) Procurement
  • - Assist in purchasing all necessary items for the Production and Supporting Departments.
  • - Request quotations from vendors for items needed.
  • - Complete item request forms after quotes are received.
  • - Create and issue purchase orders.
  • - Complete order with vendors after approval of purchase order is received.
  • - Provide support to all departments in the purchase of materials and services.
  • - Assist with receiving all ordered items and ensure accuracy of deliveries.
  • - Verify inventories and determine items needed to be purchased.
  • - Process invoices and resolve any issues to ensure accuracy of invoices.
  • - Maintain and analyze data for all purchase orders in Excel file.
  • - Engage in pricing negotiations with the vendors as needed.
  • - Engage in contract negotiations when needed.


  • - Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • - Bilingual required (Korean, English)
  • - Skills in database management and record keeping
  • - Excellent organizational skills.
  • - Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and recordkeeping.
