About Our Client

Job Summary

  • - MT Supervisor shall lead and direct planned work of maintenance team leaders and its members. The MT Supervisor is responsible for managing attendance, daily work, scheduling of PM activities, and supporting production during scheduled production times. Supervisor shall facilitate communication between Korean and local team members and direct local membership towards improvement and cooperative work completion. The supervisor shall lead team members in training learned methods and knowledge sharing activities.
  • - The supervisor will lead quality improvement and productivity enhancing activities. The supervisor shall also represent department in internal improvement projects and meetings.
  • - The supervisor shall also lead and perform preventative, predictive, and other activities that also includes routine maintenance tasks to support minimizing of production downtime.
  • - All tasks will be performed while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the company.

Job Description

  • - Create, organize, manage, and track annual MT Plan including budget, training, equipment inspection, process improvement, major improvement, downtime management and setting targets.
  • - Daily attendance of department technician membership
  • - Report weekly departmental work plans
  • - Lead in weekly corrective actions with reports and presentation at weekly quality meeting
  • - Lead quality improvement and productivity activities
  • - Verify preventive/predictive MT guidelines and checks are completed
  • - Downtime tracking by review of daily reports - propose reduction plans
  • - Attendance and support of productivity improvement projects and meetings
  • - Develop, track, and support after hours, weekend, and holiday work plans
  • - Technician wage review and turnover to payroll
  • - Propose, manage, complete major purchases and capital investment projects as needed
  • - Verify and monitor completion of daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly checklists and other documents completed by department technicians
  • - Support company 5S3C and “Improvement Suggestion” programs
  • - Lead corporate ISO/TS/5-STAR audit preparation activities
  • - Participation in plant safety, health, and environmental programs
  • - All other activities requested by department supervisor, engineer, and manager
  • - Select person in charge of OH&S risk assessment in each team and enforce evaluation (periodic and non-periodic).
  • - Review the team’s significant OH&S risk and train the team.
  • - Continuous control of OH&S risk of all activities in the team.
  • - Notify the OH&S risk assessment results to safety team.
  • - Daily control of OH&S risk (usage, storage, waste of substance, etc.)
  • ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • 1. Assumes other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

  • - Education: Education in the high level of mechanical, electrical and troubleshooting skills
  • - Experience & Training: Train to use basic tool sets including a tool-belt with essential tools: screwdrivers, pliers, allen wrench set, and crescent wrench.

  • - Leadership skills and planning abilities
  • - Willing to work a changing shift schedule and available for weekend PM or repair work that includes holidays
  • - Ability to lift 50 pounds plus
  • - Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings
  • - Ability to write detailed repair reports as well as good verbal communication
