Job Summary
Specialize in implementing cost-effective purchases of all goods and services, as required by the company. Ensuring quality control and adhering to the company’s policies and procedures on supply chain management
Job Description
- The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Establishing the operating strategies for all import-related
- Managing RFQ and the unit price of purchasing items
- Localizing for the imported items (finding the local vendors from the imported items)
- Supporting gross profit goals by negotiating and comparing local product costs and imported product costs, lead times, freight terms, and purchase quantity requirements
- Initiating global sourcing ( finding the abroad suppliers)
- Supporting day-to-day procurement functions such as PO process, new vendor onboarding, renewing contracts, reviewing and approving purchase requisitions, etc.
Qualifications
- The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
- 2+ years of procurement/purchasing experience in Supply Chain
- Excellent negotiation skills/ Strong knowledge of contract and contract management
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong business acumen and decision-making
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
- Solid grasp of MS Office, ERP
- Bachelor's degree
- Korean Bilingual
- The following skills and qualifications are preferred for this position:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Economics, E-Commerce, Engineering, or a related field
- CPSM or relevant certification
- Knowledge and experience with procurement/purchasing regarding MRO products
- Experienced purchasing packages in Canada
