Job Summary
Outbound Transportation Specialist to support company's logistics operations. You will perform various logistics activities.
Job Description
- - Work with 3rd party Freight Forwarding partners to arrange the transportation of imported goods to the US
- - Ensure timely pick up of cargo based on performance metrics of updates or shipment details and maintain the system hygiene
- - Create dashboards to track performance and drive improvement
- - Continually update transit times in the ERP system to ensure accuracy in material lead times.
- - Update team with container or truckload delivery status and analyze expenses for improving cost-efficiency
- - Miscellaneous departmental duties such as reconciling billing, documentation, and closing out shipments as needed
Qualifications
- - Business Administration, Business related Bachelor degree
- - Excellent analytical and communication skills
- - Strong organizational skills, a good understanding of sourcing, and the ability to maintain vendor relationships
- - Direct experience with spreadsheet computer applications
- - Bilingual (Kor/Eng) preferred
