Job Summary
Job Description
- - Developing and testing new and existing formulations for a range of make-up, skin care and other beauty products.
- - Receiving, clarifying, and interpreting customer concepts and briefs.
- - Sampling to customers with new formulas and making adjustments of formulas according to customer requirements.
- - Keeping current on new materials, methods, concepts, patents, and market developments
- - Stability & compatibility testing
- - Assisting during production
- - Investigating and assessing potential new raw materials for compliance with International Guidelines and assuring adherence to GMPs and FDA regulations
- - Lab-scale manufacturing of new formulas
- - Performing necessary lab work and others
Qualifications
- - Ability to formulate new products and revise older recipes according to changing tastes and trends
- - Ability to present new product ideas or research reports to executive staff
- - Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal (Bilingual User preferred)
- - Ability to write reports on research and help develop product concepts and marketing plans
- Education & Work Experience Requirements:
- Degree Level :
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in science, chemistry or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Experience :
- 3-6 years of experience in product formulation (make- up & skin care products specialist preferred)
