Job Summary

• As a Warehouse Manager, you will supervise all activities of the facility, which includes
• overseeing team performance, expediting receipt and shipment of goods, and
• ensure efficient and organized storage. This position reports the Sr. Director of
• Operations and is accountable for direct supervision of the work activities of
• warehouse associates, including selection, termination, performance appraisal and
• professional development.

Job Description

• Maintain and lead distribution operations for the overall productivity
• agenda across distribution center inventory fulfillment, warehousing and
• transportation movement including truck load, direct to customer delivery,
• LTL, parcel and international freight
• ?Prepare report for performance of warehouse operation and KPIs
• (Productivity, customer/vendor satisfaction, and accuracy in shipping)
• ?Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and
• monitoring security procedures and protocols
• ?Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciles with
• data storage systems
• ?Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse by planning and
• implementing network design and inventory control practices, and monitor
• the standard compliance of distribution center
• ?Lead staffing needs by recruiting, selecting and orienting and Improve
• warehouse operational requirements by coaching, training, and disciplining employees
• ?Drive continuous improvements through more effective processes,
• elimination of duplicate efforts, waste and other defects in the process
• ?Achieves financial objectives by ensuring allotted budget is in line with
• annual budget and negotiating rates with carriers and other service providers

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent
• combination of education and related experience
• ?Excellent analytical skills, communication and organizational skills
• ?Strong understanding of warehouse management, technical procedures
• and ability to compliance governmental regulations2 of 3
• Travel Requirements:
• Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
• Physical Requirements:
• Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required,
• such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of
• which may be heavy or awkward. Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of
• time. Ability to lift to 75 lbs.
• Working Conditions:
• Typically, in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as
• temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes which cause
• noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness.
