Job Summary

  • As a Warehouse Manager you will play a leading role in our company’s positive culture by helping us create an effective organization as the automotive industry moves toward an electric future. A Warehouse Manager has to know the overall work process of inbound warehouse management work and how to use related systems.
  • -Managing warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision.
  • -Overseeing receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operation.
  • -Setting up layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
  • There will be business trips to HQ in Korea and Hungary Plant for training, need for continuous collaboration with Korean/Hungary Plant personnel. Conduct interviews and evaluations for group recruitment and consult with HR so that group member can be hired within the schedule. Manages the group organization and give guides for efficient work directions through time and attendance management, interviews, and evaluation of group members. Identify problems in group work and make an effort to improve/resolve them. When an emergency issue occurs, report it and work together with the relevant personnel to resolve the issue. Reports to the CPO on a regular basis (weekly/monthly) on group work, and immediately reports in case of emergency.

Job Description

  • ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • -Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision.
  • -Set group and team member KPIs and goals and manage the progress of group work
  • -Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations
  • -Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
  • -Initiate, coordinate, and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
  • -Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements.
  • -Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security.
  • -Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system.
  • -Prepare annual budget.
  • -Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies.
  • -Plan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results.
  • -Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees.
  • -Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc.).
  • -Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided.

  • -Strong knowledge of and experience working with state/local regulations and requirements
  • -Strong presentation skills to clearly articulate business problems, analytical approaches, potential solutions & recommendations
  • -Ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations per team goals
  • -Ability to anticipate “what if” scenarios
  • -High level of written and verbal communication
  • -Self-motivated: energetic, enjoys working at quick pace

Qualifications

  • MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • -Minimum of 5 years of Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager
  • -Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
  • -Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
  • -Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • -Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
  • -Leadership skills and ability manage staff
  • -Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
  • -Excellent communication skills
  • PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • -BS degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration (not essential)
  • -Prefer Bilingual English / Korean
  • -Extensive knowledge in Data Analytics utilizing MS Excel, MS Access, or other database applications
  • -Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, presentation.
  • -Critical thinking and an analytical mindset.
  • -Demonstrated teamwork and effectiveness in accomplishing goal.
