Job Summary

Process and monitor all inbound and outbound shipments. Complete necessary documentation and update ERP/SAP as needed. Work across functions to deliver self-service business intelligence tools, applications and dashboards to provide business insights and decision making capability. Perform ad hoc analysis and hypothesis testing in support of ongoing projects and special requests.

Job Description

  • Process and maintain inventory, shipments, transportation arrangements, and ERP/WMS data entry. Monitor and troubleshoot warehouse inventory using ERP/WMS. Provide warehouse and shipping activity reports as required. The ideal candidate will be able to work both individually and in a team environment, have impeccable attention-to-detail, strong communication skills, and an understanding of Logistics/Supply chain related functions.
  • Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • - Performs data management through a combination of data mining, data modeling, data analysis, cost/benefit analysis and/or problem analysis; while executing day to day processes related to area of responsibility.
  • - Pull data from numerous databases (using Excel, ERP, TMS, and/or other data management systems) and to perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
  • - Monitor daily warehouse reports and process necessary transactions in SAP and WMS on RMA/damage/block/unblock for consistency.
  • - Develops and maintains cost estimates, forecasts, and cost models
  • - Manage all the return loads (RMA) via TMS from shipment creation until the return process is completed.
  • - Support all functions in TMS, such as load creation, adjustment and cancellation.
  • - Secure the annual, and spot shipments of Raw materials and finished goods from outside of country to support production.
  • - Develops and maintains cost estimates, forecasts, and cost models
  • - Resolve warehouse, production, and sales team collaboration issues that may arise.
  • - Conduct warehouse inventory audits and inspect damaged products.
  • - Update all transactions in SAP and WMS regarding inventory discrepancies.
  • - Manage all warehouse equipment usage (tractor / forklift hours) and lease renewals; assist in procurement / negotiations on new leases for equipment.
  • - Develops business tools and solutions based on knowledge, product or technology and identifies logistics process improvement.
  • - Supports vendor/business partner relationships.
  • - Supports the business and maintains reports from a variety of resources as specific to department or organizational needs.
  • - Develop performance metrics to assist with driving business results.
  • - Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs, while measuring and identifying activities performed and ensuring service requirements are met.
  • - Excellent communication, both verbal and written as you will be required to convey updates on issues and operational status during daily/weekly reviews.
  • - Support transportation team regarding billings, invoices
  • - Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Listed below are the minimum and/or desired qualifications of the position including education, work experience and knowledge & skills that are required to perform satisfactorily in the position:
  • Education and Work Experience:
  • - Undergraduate degree in business or related field preferred but not required.
  • - Experience with ERP/SAP is preferred.
  • - 0-5 years of relevant experience will be considered.
  • Knowledge and Skills:
  • - Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel and major MS Office Suite.
  • - Ability to multi task and prioritize duties assigned.
  • - Basic knowledge of economics and accounting.
  • - Management of financial resources.
  • - Time management skills.
  • - Complex problem solving & critical thinking.
  • - Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
  • - Problem solving ? strong problem-solving skills and experience following a well-defined process when troubleshooting.
  • Physical Demands:
  • - Position requires sitting at a desk working on a computer for at least 2/3 of time.
  • - Position requires regular and reliable attendance.
  • - Position requires travel up to 10% of time.
