Job Summary

Accountable to ensure the shipping of the Company’s products operates smoothly and consistent with customers’ purchase orders and Company policy.

Job Description

  • - Confirm customer’s purchase order details and classify the requirements for delivery
  • - Establish a loading and shipping schedule based on purchase order
  • - Verify the planned shipping volume and reconcile the short-route of the carrier based on delivery dates and destinations
  • - Confirm purchase order volume to maximize the loading volume and verify the customer’s requirements for testing, certification, product packaging etc.
  • - Responsible for preliminary arrangements that include status of trailers, assigning docks, arranging operators and loaders and equipment inspections
  • - Check whether shipment plans are correctly captured in company tracking software
  • - Verify empty containers and carriers
  • - Cross-check withdrawals and monitor the status of docks and inventory
  • - Track the progress of loading per dock and notify responsible departments when errors occur
  • - Complete the final verification with the volume of withdrawal, in-progress and loading when the operation is finished
  • - Conduct safety inspections and escalate safety concerns that are observed in the shipping and loading site
  • - Handle and modify plans for expedited orders
  • - Prepare daily reports on shipping performance and withdrawal of inventory
  • - Maintain tracking of label check sheets to manage label inventory efficiently and notify logistics when label stock is low
  • - Demonstrate ability to report to work on a regular and consistent basis; work safely; and follow company policies and procedures
  • - Effective verbal and written communication skills; make presentations as necessary
  • - Perform other duties and tasks as may be assigned or expected

Qualifications

  • - High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
  • - Bi-lingual: English&Korean
  • Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • - Logistics experience, time management, leadership, multi-tasking, organization, proficient in excel and word, attention-to-detail
  • Physical Requirements
  • - Office or Other Indoor Work: With minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting/moving materials less than 25 pounds.
  • Working Conditions
  • - Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors and/or any number of elements.
  • - Working conditions for this positions are split between the plant and office settings.
