Job Summary

The Inventory Control Specialist is accountable to maintain the organization’s inventory, ordering and supplying necessary items and maintain accurate records of all procurements.

Job Description

• - Establishes and maintains backup source for high-demand items.
• - Assesses inventory reports and order patterns to identify items in need of automatic, recurring delivery.
• - Provides inventory reports to purchasing and inventory control manager.
• - Develops and maintains professional and constructive working relationships with vendors.
• - Maintains accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made.
• - Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.
• - Assists with physical inventory audits.
• - Operates forklift truck when necessary.
• - Performs other related duties as needed or assigned.
• - Reports to work on a regular, consistent basis; performs work safely.

Qualifications

• - Excellent communication skills with internal departments and outside vendors
• - Basic understanding of inventory control procedures
• - Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
• - Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision
• - Ability to quickly develop professional and constructive relationships with outside vendors and internal stakeholders
• - Ability to perform basic math calculations
• - Bi-lingual English & Korean
• Education and Experience
• - Bachelor’s or Associates degree in business related discipline preferred
• - High school diploma or equivalent required
• - Experience with computerized inventory systems desired
• - Forklift operator certification preferred or capable to achieve certification
• Work Schedule
• - Schedule swaps every other week
• - 7:00 am ? 3:30 pm and 1:30 pm ? 10 pm
• - Routine work every other Saturday
• Working Conditions
• - Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors and/or any number of elements.
• - Working conditions for this positions are split between the plant and office settings.
