Job Summary
Job Description
- Organize and track the company’s contracts, leases, and trademark registrations
- Assist in the company’s brand protection efforts
- Maintain the company’s business registrations
- Conduct legal research and investigations
- Prepare and proofread correspondence and legal documents
- Manage the department’s physical and electronic file systems
- Maintain an accounting of department expenses
- Provide general administrative assistance
Qualifications
- 2-5 years experience, junior to mid level as legal assistant, legal secretary, or administrative assistant preferred
- Entry level seeking professional career in legal services also welcome
- 4 years college degree preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluent English
- Ability to read and understand legal documents
- Strong organization skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams)
- Ability and discipline to follow established procedures
- Working knowledge of basic legal workflows
