Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated Regional Sales Manager to lead the sales and business development in the North American region for turbomachinery/centrifugal compressor sales. This position directly reports to the Director of Sales.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
  • - Develop new business opportunities and execute sales strategy to grow the turbomachinery business in the North American region.
  • - Deliver booking targets/growth strategies and manage booking forecasts, reporting to US corporation and global headquarters.
  • - Prepare sales proposals by analyzing potential customers' engineering and technical requirements to promote the sales of turbo compressors.
  • - Responsible for managing project schedules and providing technical consulting and commercial support to ensure new equipment booking targets are satisfied.
  • - Key account relationship management - maintain existing customer base and seek new customer relationships in the North America region.
  • - Communicate with sales channel and internal sales organization to sell our compressors effectively.

Qualifications

  • Requirements
  • - Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering
  • - 9+ years of direct sales /proposals experience in integrally geared compressor business
  • - Relevant working experience in the North American region, especially the US
  • - Preferably, ability to understand Air Separation and API business market and project management needs.
  • - Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization (internal/external), including communication with headquarters
  • - Ability to work in a fast paced environment, highly-motivated, ability to work under pressure within a team environment, good communication skills, professional attitude, willingness to travel extensively
