Job Description

  • Overall Sales Tasks:
  • - Keeps abreast of retail industry trends to develop strategies for market penetration and stays informed of competitive activities such as new product launching, in-store marketing and pricing, etc.
  • - Lead and support development of sales, customer growth strategies, strategic account planning and successful execution of the strategies to meet the sales objective / target.
  • - Manage relationship with distributors. Ensure fulfilment of orders, explore and execute trade-marketing opportunities offered by distributors or brokers.
  • - Oversee brokers’ work. Build supply planning generation and continuously follow up.
  • - Effectively executes sales presentations and product demonstrations to close new business and deliver annual volume and profit objectives.
  • - Present regularly to the Management team on results of on-going operations, channel performance, plans business development and improvement initiatives with statistics data and examples.
  • Optimal Sales Performance:
  • - Develop strong relationships with retail and wholesale businesses. Build and maintain a client database to ensure repeat business by providing excellent customer service and timely follow-up
  • - Review and update open Sales portfolio and if necessary, to coordinate new products, promotions, any special MKT activities, unexpected delay etc. and to convert into meaningful sales figure with rationale.
  • Trade marketing:
  • - Contribute to category marketing plans with customer and category analysis and promotional strategy.
  • - Plan and execute in-store marketing actions that lead to increased sales (Including but not limited to in-store demos, flyers, endcap programs, cooking classes, signage, etc)
  • - Contributes to forecast accuracy via timely and accurate input into forecasting process.
  • - Continuous analysis of customer position, working together with brand managers in HQ to recommend in-store action aimed at strengthening brand position within categories in target channel.
  • KPI Management:
  • - Understand where tackles come from and to improve KPI result.
  • - Analyze brokers performance and set up their KPI following up sales results continuously.
  • Other tasks
  • As a part of a small, multi-disciplinary team you should be willing to support any task that leads to the success of the common goals. Even when it requires to participate in activities that are not directly related with your core R&R or even with your broad field of expertise.

Qualifications

  • Qualified candidates must have the following characteristics:
  • - Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • - Mastery of organization, presentation and planning skills.
  • - Preferred At least 3 years of related sales experience in the Food and Beverage Industry.
  • - Computer literate in word processing, spreadsheets, and computer presentations.
  • - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and work with co-workers
  • - Documented track record of success
  • - Demonstrated existing client contacts and relationships
  • - Comfortable working independently in a busy and sometimes high-pressure environment
  • - Comfortable working on a thorough self-analysis and continued improvement company culture.
  • - A very organized, strong self-starter who takes initiatives and anticipates opportunities and problems, with an ability to see the “big picture” and drive business to achieve results.
  • - Possible remote work; Our offices are placed in Cerritos, CA, Laurel, MD, and New York, NY.
