Job Summary

Job Description

• Product Design & Collection Development
• Lead the design and development of seasonal menswear collections across multiple product categories (Outerwear, Tops, Bottoms, Knitwear, etc.).
• Develop creative concepts, mood boards, color palettes, silhouettes, graphics, and seasonal product stories.
• Ensure all designs align with RAPIDO's premium sports casual brand identity and target customer positioning.
• Conduct market research and analyze global fashion trends, consumer insights, competitor products, and emerging lifestyle trends.
• Product Development
• Collaborate closely with Product Planning (MD), Technical Design, Material Development, and Production teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Prepare detailed sketches, technical flats, specifications, and design packages.
• Participate in prototype reviews, fitting sessions, and sample evaluations to ensure design intent and quality standards are achieved.
• Work with fabric mills and suppliers to develop innovative materials, trims, and functional details.
• Commercial & Brand Alignment
• Balance creativity with commercial viability, pricing strategy, and seasonal sales objectives.
• Analyze previous season performance and customer feedback to continuously improve product competitiveness.
• Support merchandising strategies by optimizing product assortment and category mix.
• Cross-functional Collaboration
• Partner with Merchandising, Marketing, Production, Sourcing, and Quality teams to ensure successful seasonal launches.
• Present seasonal concepts and collection reviews to internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate with overseas vendors and manufacturers throughout development and commercialization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
• 8?12 years of menswear design experience within premium fashion, sportswear, outdoor, or contemporary brands.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating commercial menswear design capability.
• Deep understanding of garment construction, pattern, fit, fabrication, and product development.
• Excellent knowledge of global fashion trends, textiles, trims, and functional apparel.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and PLM systems.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Business-level English communication.
