Job Summary

Engineering - Electronics/Communication

Job Description

• - Participate in development of new products and product improvements with disciplined focus in product engineering design of connector solution.
• - Design and develop quality product and ensuring manufacturability with other engineering functions involved in product development.
• - Perform product design activity which includes translating customer requirements into product drawings and product specification, design analysis and verification, tolerance analysis, DFMEA, etc.
• - Ensure product designs are validated per customer requirements, respecting international industry standards.
• - Take Project Leadership role, define and reconcile technical DFM with Process Design team
• - Responsible for product engineering of responsible product line; and be part of integrated team anticipating and resolving customer dissatisfaction.
• - Improve product designs to bring about reduction in manufacturing cost.

Qualifications

• - Bachelor / Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing or other relevant discipline
• - Minimum 3 years of product design development experience with excellent grasp of Engineering and Design principles.
• - Experience in interconnects design industry is desirable. Senior/Staff position requires excellent design leadership skills and relevant product life-cycle knowledge.
• - Proficient with Mechanical Design, Solid Mechanics theory and its application to product design
• - Familiar with CAD/CAE tool: Pro-Engineer CREO/ANSYS 3D CAD modeling is a must
• - Familiar with engineering drawing standards
• - Working knowledge of connector application, plastic technology, insert-molding, stamping processes is preferred.

• Relocation Allowance: USD 5,000
• - Joining Bonus: USD 10,000
• - Housing Allowance: RM1,000 per month
• - Transport: RM 100 - RM 150 per month
• - Meal Allowance: RM 2 per day
• - Annual Home Leave: One round-trip economy-class air ticket
• - Variable Bonus: Up to three months’ salary, subject to performance
