Job Description
- We are seeking an Investment and Research Associate to join our New York office. The successful candidate will:
- - Assist with fixed income and equity (ETF) trade execution and relevant trade documentation.
- · Execute trades approved or instructed by Portfolio Managers or senior team members.
- · Enhance and support product trade workflows and portfolio monitoring functions.
- - Perform periodic reviews and analyze investment portfolios.
- · Support the management of client portfolios, including account setup, daily reconciliation,
- model creation and maintenance, portfolio optimization, and portfolio trading.
- - Perform regular reporting for internal and client use.
- · Research and produce daily reports on equity and fixed income markets.
- - Adapt to new tasks and projects in the middle/back office as required.
- · Work with custodians to assist with client inquiries and internal reporting as necessary.
- - Support other common tasks necessary for corporate operations.
- · Support client requests ranging from proposal generation to client reporting.
- · Collect financial data and information requested by senior management.
- · Participate in client presentations, conference calls, and industry conferences.
- · Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- - At least 2 years of working experience in the financial industry preferred.
- - Proficiency in Korean (writing and speaking) preferred.
- - Ability to work effectively in a team environment and to adapt to changing tasks and projects.
