About Our Client
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Duluth, GA. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day operational tasks, including ocean import shipments, communication with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and customers, optimization of logistics operations, and 3PL inventory management. This role also involves accurate data entry and meticulous document filing to ensure operational efficiency.
Job Description
- Key Responsibilities
- 1. Ocean Import Operations
- - Coordinate day-to-day ocean import shipments from origin to final destination.
- - Ensure timely processing and filing of import documentation (CI, PL, B/L, Customs entries).
- - Communicate continuously with freight forwarders, steamship lines, and customs brokers.
- - Monitor shipment milestones and coordinate final-mile delivery/drayage to end customers or warehouses.
- 2. Inventory & Warehouse Management
- - Oversee inbound and outbound cargo movement at 3PL warehouse facilities.
- - Perform routine inventory reconciliations and audits to ensure 3PL system accuracy.
- - Monitor and manage consignment inventory held at customer sites.
- 3. Financial & Accounting Support
- - Review commercial invoices and input purchase data into the ERP system.
- - Issue accurate sales invoices to customers.
- - Audit and approve freight bills, duty invoices, and accessorial charges to control logistics costs.
- 4. Vendor & Customer Relationship Management
- - Provide timely shipment status updates to customers and resolve operational issues proactive.
- - Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales) to optimize transport routing.
- - Manage carriers, customs brokers, and 3PL partners to maintain high service standards.
Qualifications
- Qualifications
- - Experience: Entry or 1?2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations.
- - Language: Bilingual in Korean and English (Required).
- - Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
- - Core Competencies: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- - Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for customer service and vendor relations.
- - Detail-Oriented: High level of accuracy in data entry, record-keeping, document filing, and invoice auditing.
