Engineer for Robotic Dexterous Hands
Job Description
- 1. Responsible for designing structural solutions for ‘Agile Hand’ product assemblies and selecting core components
- 2. Conducting fundamental research into key technologies and carrying out product CAE analysis in collaboration with the simulation team
- 2. Participating in testing and validation, drawing up test plans, and supporting engineering analysis and industrialisation efforts
- 3. Collaborating with the procurement team and liaising with suppliers on technical matters
- 4. Preparing relevant design documents and technical documentation during the development process
- 5. Assisting the project manager in liaising with clients on project development
Qualifications
- 1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Design, Mechatronics or a related discipline
- 2. At least 2 years’ experience in robotic mechanical design; familiar with robotic structural design and the operating principles of various actuators; proficient in multi-body dynamics
- 3. Familiar with the selection, calculation and analysis of components such as gearboxes, ball screws and linkages
- 4. Proficient in design software such as CREO and CAD; familiar with dynamic simulation and related software
- 5. Familiarity with material properties and forming processes, such as the machining and processing of plastics, carbon fibre and metals
- 6. Other requirements: Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
