About Our Client

Our client is the third-largest heavy equipment manufacturer in the world. This is the exclusive distributor of heavy machinery including excavators and earth-moving equipment in Thailand.

Job Summary

• Responsible for leading the overall procurement function, including procurement strategy, supplier management, cost control, inventory optimization, and supply chain coordination. The role will oversee sourcing activities for machinery, spare parts, services, and project-related materials while ensuring cost efficiency, timely delivery, and compliance with company policies.
• Key responsibilities include supplier development and evaluation, contract negotiation, procurement process improvement, risk management, and leading the procurement team to achieve business objectives.

Job Description

• - Lead and execute the company's procurement strategy to support business objectives.
• - Manage sourcing and purchasing of machinery, spare parts, services, and project-related materials.
• - Develop and manage supplier relationships, including supplier evaluation, negotiation, contract management, and performance review.
• - Drive cost reduction initiatives, improve procurement efficiency, and optimize inventory management.
• - Coordinate with Sales, Service, Warehouse, Logistics, and Finance teams to ensure smooth operations and project delivery.
• - Oversee import procurement, delivery planning, and urgent purchasing requirements.
• - Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contracts, and risk management standards.
• - Lead, develop, and manage the procurement team to achieve operational excellence.

Qualifications

• - Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain, Logistics, Purchasing, International Trade, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• - Minimum 8 years of procurement experience, including at least 3 years in a management role.
• - Experience in construction machinery, automotive, heavy equipment, manufacturing, or related industries is highly preferred.
• - Strong knowledge of procurement, supply chain, inventory management, and ERP systems.
• - Excellent negotiation, supplier management, leadership, and cost-control skills.
• - English and Thai are good.
