Job Summary
Job Description
- - Sourcing Polymer (PE, PP, PVC) by developing a business plan that covers procurement, revenue, and expense controls.
- - Developing new suppliers, maximizing sourcing volume and enhancing business relationships.
- - Maintaining and reporting sourcing and procurement information in a timely and accurate manner.
- - Understanding suppliers' end markets and procurement strategies.
- - Continuous communication with internal counterparts in other countries to ensure timely and accurate solutions to increase efficiency.
- - Increasing the presence of company in polymer business by attending appropriate industry conferences and company meetings.
Qualifications
- - Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year accredited school(preferred)
- - 5 years of domestic sourcing + exporting experience in the polymer industry(must)
- - Proven experience in exporting US locally sourced products to Europe, Latin America and Asia etc.
- - Sourcing experience at chemical distribution companies(preferred)
- - Ability to travel domestically and internationally for business trips
- - Ability to create new opportunities and convert sourcing strategies into tangible results
- - Resourcefulness and persistence in prospecting potential clients and suppliers
- - Excellent communication skills
