About Our Client

Job Summary

  • We're hiring a Manager to Senior Manager to drive new business development and customer-facing engineering programs in the U.S.
  • This is a high-impact, ground-floor role?you’ll be the third team member in the U.S. office, working directly with the CEO and playing a critical role in expanding HYvision’s presence with top-tier tech customers.
  • If you have experience working with companies like Google, Meta, Tesla, and know how to turn relationships into real opportunities, this role is built for you.

Job Description

  • New Business Development (Core Focus)
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities with major tech customers
  • Leverage your network and prior experience to open doors and generate project pipelines
  • Support account expansion by uncovering new needs and positioning HYvision solutions
  • Customer Engagement & Relationship Management
  • Lead regular and ad hoc meetings with customer engineering teams
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders
  • Act as the primary U.S. point of contact for customers
  • Engineering Program Coordination
  • Partner with HQ PMs and engineering teams in Korea to align on customer requirements
  • Help translate customer needs into actionable project scopes and timelines
  • Support early-stage program execution and ensure smooth communication
  • Cross-Functional & Global Collaboration
  • Serve as the bridge between U.S. customers and Korea HQ teams
  • Ensure alignment on expectations, priorities, and deliverables
  • Communication & Reporting
  • Document and share meeting outcomes, customer insights, and opportunity updates
  • Provide visibility to leadership on pipeline, risks, and account status

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in business development, technical sales, or engineering PM roles
  • Experience working with or selling into companies like Google, Meta, Tesla, or similar
  • Strong industry network and ability to generate opportunities independently
  • Comfortable in both technical discussions and business conversations
  • Able to operate in a startup-like, lean team environment with high ownership
  • Preferred:
  • Experience in display, optics, automotive, or consumer electronics industries
  • Bilingual in English and Korean is a preferred
