FPGA Expert
Job Description
- 1. Responsible for FPGA development based on the Xilinx Virtex/Zynq Ultrascale+ series;
- 2. Primarily responsible for the development of FPGA-based memory device controllers;
- 3. Responsible for analysing product functional requirements, collaborating with hardware engineers on device selection and validation, as well as logic system/module design, code writing, simulation, debugging and verification;
- 4. Collaborate with software engineers on system debugging, analysing, identifying and resolving issues;
- 5. Compile relevant technical documentation in accordance with the company’s technical documentation standards.
Qualifications
- 1. A bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Communications, Computer Science or a related field with at least five years’ experience, or a master’s degree with at least three years’ experience;
- 2. A solid foundation in digital circuits;
- 3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently undertake the development of functional units or products;
- 4. Familiarity with the device architectures of companies such as Altera, Xilinx and Lattice;
- 5. Proficiency in EDA tools such as Quartus II, ISE, Vivado, ModelSim and Debussy;
- 6. Proficiency in at least one hardware description language (Verilog, VHDL, SystemVerilog or SystemC); familiarity with programming languages such as C and C++;
- 7. Good programming practices and sound documentation management habits;
- 8. Familiarity with DDR/LVDS high-speed interface standards and related protocols;
- 9. Strong communication skills, a strong sense of teamwork and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
