Job Summary

  • The 3PL Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with company policies and client requirements.
  • This role will manage inventory, optimize workflows, lead the warehouse team, and ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining high service levels.

Job Description

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • - Warehouse Operations Management:
  • o Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping.
  • o Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse efficiency and productivity.
  • o Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • o Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, conducting regular audits.
  • o Implement and oversee warehouse management system (WMS) usage for operational accuracy.
  • o Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, working with transportation providers and clients.
  • - Team Leadership & Development:
  • o Recruit, train, and mentor warehouse staff to maintain a high-performance team.
  • o Assign tasks and monitor staff performance, providing feedback and coaching as necessary.
  • o Foster a positive work environment with strong communication and teamwork.
  • o Enforce adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company policies.
  • - Customer & Client Relations:
  • o Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding warehouse operations.
  • o Ensure client SLAs and service level expectations (SLEs) are met or exceeded.
  • o Address client concerns and provide timely resolutions to operational challenges.
  • o Generate and analyze reports on warehouse performance metrics for clients and stakeholders.
  • - Continuous Improvement & Cost Management:
  • o Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices.
  • o Optimize space utilization, labor efficiency, and operational costs.
  • o Implement automation and technology solutions where applicable.
  • o Analyze warehouse expenses and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
  • - Health & Safety Compliance:
  • o Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring adherence to OSHA and workplace safety guidelines.
  • o Conduct safety training and enforce proper handling of materials and equipment.
  • o Investigate workplace incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Qualifications

  • - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • - 5+ years of experience in warehouse management, preferably within a 3PL environment.
  • - Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • - Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control processes.
  • - Experience with shipping, receiving, and transportation logistics.
  • - Ability to analyze data and implement operational improvements.
  • - Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • - Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and compliance.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
  • - On-time order fulfillment rate
  • - Inventory accuracy
  • - Warehouse productivity metrics
  • - Client satisfaction scores
  • - Safety compliance and incident rates.

What's On Offer

  • Working Conditions:
  • - Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 (based on experience)
  • - Full time On-Site Employment
  • - Location: Secaucus, NJ
  • - Hours: M-F, 8AM to 5PM
  • - This position may require occasional travel to various 3PL provider locations.
  • - Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • - Must be able to work flexible hours to accommodate different time zones and operational demands.
