Job Summary
This role is primarily a hands-on position responsible for end-to-end import and export operations, documentation, and coordination with freight forwarders.
Job Description
- Handle end-to-end import and export operations and documentation (hands-on role)
- Coordinate with freight forwarders for both import and export shipments (both required)
- Prepare and manage shipping documents (e.g., invoice, packing list, B/L, customs-related documents)
- Follow up shipment status, delivery timelines, and required approvals
- Ensure accurate data entry and reporting using Excel and internal documentation formats
- Manage export processing in a high-volume environment (30+ export shipments per month)
- Communicate with internal departments (production, warehouse, planning, etc.) to ensure smooth shipment execution
- Maintain organized records, shipment logs, and supporting documents
- Support day-to-day troubleshooting for shipment issues (delays, document corrections, coordination gaps)
Qualifications
- Must have practical experience handling BOTH import and export forwarding operations (Import-only or export-only experience will not be considered)
- Experience in manufacturing environment is preferred
- Strong working knowledge of Excel (daily usage is required)
- Good attention to detail and ability to manage repetitive operational tasks accurately
- Able to work independently and manage routine workflows with minimal supervision
- A “leader-type” profile who can take ownership of operations, even in a small team
- Age target: 30 to 35 years old
