Job Summary

The QA Engineer ~ Manager role is an early member of Operations as part of a rapidly growing team as it is setting up its first US manufacturing plant.

Job Description

  • - Drive Continuous Improvement efforts in product quality/performance and process optimization.
  • - Ensure compliance with all certification audit requirements.
  • - Review all product labels used in the facility and ensures adherence to regulatory and Company standards.
  • - Ensure adherence to appropriate regulations and Company standards for all incoming and outgoing materials.
  • - Create and manage test plans and procedures to inspect and handle raw materials and finished goods.
  • - Communicate quality metric and inspection results to appropriate managers and others in leadership positions including, but not limited to daily, weekly or monthly KPIs reporting to Corporate.
  • - Ensure that proper procedures are utilized and that adequate tests are performed; provides 'troubleshooting' efforts in the event of system failure.
  • - Develop and maintains documentation of all required tests and activities.
  • - Manage quality tool calibration requirements.
  • -Coordinate customer site visits to address quality concerns.
  • -Engage suppliers as required on supplier quality issues and corrective actions.
  • -Develop and implement Quality Control procedures and processes.
  • -Develop PFMEA, Process Flow/Control Plan, Quality Inspection Standards, PPAP, etc.
  • -Provide and organize quality training to internal customers.
  • - Cooperate in a cross-functional manner as a change agent with all departments within the Company.
  • - Leads by example with ANP’s Mission, Vision, and Values. This includes following Company policies, standards and specifications.
  • - Takes initiative to move from problem to solution in a safety-conscious manner.
  • - Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • - External Candidates: Bachelor's degree in a science-based area of study and a minimum of 5 years QA experience.
  • - Process Control Qualified Individual
  • - Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • - Knowledge of quality core tools such as APQP, PPAP, MSA, GD&T, & FMEA.
  • - Experience as responsible leader with external audits, including ISO 9001 (IATF 16949 preferred).
  • - Knowledge of SPC & Statistical Analysis.
  • - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • - Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
  • - Possesses understanding of the basics of change management and document control.
  • - Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs; ability to lead others through change.
  • - Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • - Skill in organization and prioritization, and attention to detail.
  • - Additional responsibilities as assigned.
  • Reasoning Ability
  • - Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
