Job Description

  • Lead and manage new product development projects for soup and noodle categories from concept through commercialization.
  • Oversee product and process improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, consistency, and operational efficiency.
  • Drive cost optimization projects, ensuring product quality and compliance are maintained.
  • Conduct market research and competitive product analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality Assurance, Production, Procurement, Marketing, and Global R&D.
  • Provide technical leadership and problem-solving support for manufacturing processes and product challenges.
  • Monitor industry trends, new ingredients, technologies, and regulatory requirements to support continuous innovation.
  • Mentor and develop R&D staff to build technical capability within the team.
  • Communicate project progress, challenges, and results to senior leadership and global stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Food Science, Food Engineering, Nutrition, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in product development or R&D within the food industry, with a focus on soup, noodle, or related products preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing product development projects from concept to launch.
  • Strong technical knowledge of food formulation, processing technologies, and quality standards.
  • Experience in leading cost optimization and process improvement projects.
  • Solid understanding of market trends and consumer insights as they relate to product development.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a hands-on, solution-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of SAP is a plus.
