About Our Client

The company is a social enterprise specializing in supply chain management (SCM) and creating social value in collaboration with its clients. Founded by SK, the company is a sourcing and procurement service company that utilizes its entire revenue to support and connect social enterprises, thereby generating social value. The company primarily focused on procuring maintenance (MRO) products for the EV battery industry etc.

Job Summary

The HR Specialist supports all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compensation. They ensure compliance with regulations, manage employee documentation, and assist in developing retention strategies and office management.

Job Description

  • - Manages all HR activities including staffing, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits and training
  • - Manage the full-cycle recruitment from identifying potential hires to interviewing and evaluating candidates while guiding team leaders on internal recruiting/staffing policies & procedures
  • - Responsible for ensuring that the new hires have the necessary documents like their work duties & schedules, Employee Handbook, and more
  • - Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations
  • - Administration of compensation, benefits and performance management systems for all employees
  • - Draft and/or recommend revisions to company and regional leave and paid time off policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations
  • - Researches and proposes appropriate changes/revisions in employee compensation, benefit, welfare and tax programs
  • - Adjusting salary structure, handling payroll process, promotion and bonus according to performance evaluation, health Insurance, 401K and worker’s compensation
  • - Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities
  • - Provides leadership in employee relations area, promoting open communications and a positive work environment
  • - Investigate employee issues and conflicts and brings them to resolution
  • - Design and implement employee retention strategies
  • - General affairs duties of asset management, managed groupware, and approval of buying office supplies. Manage corporate documents, agreements and insurances

Qualifications

  • - Strong communication (bilingual in Korean and English required), analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • - Bachelor degree (HR Management degree is a plus, but not required)
  • - Minimum of 0~2 years of HR management experience preferred
  • - Substantial knowledge of State & Federal labor laws preferred
  • - Demonstrated strong proficiency in and use of Computer skills - Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point
