Job Summary

Our Client is now hiring HR Specialist who can handle administration of company-wide human resources policies, procedures, and practices

Job Description

  • - Regularly partners with hiring managers and other appropriate managers to anticipate and plan for staffing needs in advance of required start date.
  • - Sources candidates through cold calling, search engines, referrals, networking, career fairs, and other avenues.
  • - Generates and maintains internal and external job postings; determines effective advertising mediums; places appropriate advertisements.
  • - Pre-screens, interviews, assesses, and hires top-quality candidates.
  • - Coordinates hiring process, including but not limited to conducting background and reference checks, negotiating salary offers, and issuing job confirmation letters and other internal communication.
  • - Manages relationships with external agencies and vendors who advertise and promote targeted jobs.
  • - Assist with administration of company-wide human resources policies, procedures, and practices in accordance with stated corporate objectives and federal and state legal requirements.
  • - Coordinates and/or conducts employee-relations activities and programs including but not limited to employee counseling, interpretation of policies, new employee orientation, and employee recognition programs.
  • - Conducts exit interviews with employees; communicates findings to management.
  • - Responds to inquiries regarding the organization’s processes, policies, procedures, and programs.
  • - Conducts ongoing information and training sessions to develop employees and provide support and problem resolution.
  • - Coordinates distribution/communication of projects including but not limited to Employee Policy handbook, 401(k) open enrollment, and employee recognition.
  • - Identifies potential employee-relations issues and makes recommendations to management.
  • - Conducts investigations into claims of harassment or other company-guideline violations.

Qualifications

  • Skills:
  • - Intermediate MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) ? Effective Interpersonal skills
  • - Detail oriented
  • - Strong Organizational skills
  • - Takes Initiative
  • - Good judgment and decision making
  • - Great social and communication skills
  • - Great oral and written communication skills
  • - Bilingual Korean & English
  • Education and Work Experience:
  • - Preferably 2 - 3 years’ experience and proven track record in a recruiting role (screening, interviewing, and hiring)
  • - Experienced in the acceptable practices of interviewing and recruiting in a non-discriminatory environment.
  • - 2 or more years’ experience in Human Resources exposure and/or administration/clerical work
  • - Bachelor’s Degree preferred (Human Resources or Business Administration related)
  • - Other relevant experience in analytical and planning will be considered
