Job Summary

As a Director of Sales and Business Development for the United States, you will be responsible for achieving quarterly/annually sales goals, developing and building new quality accounts and partnerships to accomplish goals.

  • ? Meet sales targets through proactive prospecting to identify, qualify and convert new business leads within a broad range of beauty, skincare & makeup related brands and companies;
  • ? Prospecting within territory to open new accounts and grow business in these accounts;
  • ? Achieve a high level of performance to the sales goals, and new account opening goals of assigned territory quarterly and annually;
  • ? Collaborate with the CS organization & planning group, in implementing sales organization objectives that appropriately reflect the business goals;
  • ? ‘Hunter’ mentality to seek new business opportunities and client/brand relationships;
  • ? Energy and desire to make numerous cold outbound communications routinely;
  • ? Full sales cycle responsibility from lead generation, outreach, communication of value proposition, negotiation and winning through a consultative approach;
  • ? Own the entire RFP process in collaboration with Client Services to ensure the best of offering is highlighted to meet the client’s needs;
  • ? Schedule and route monthly account visits on an appropriate call cycle to optimize business results;
  • ? Tracks account and sales activities, account visits, current business conditions, trends and competitive information through CRM;
  • ? Resolve customer issues by investigating problems; developing solutions; and working with management;
  • ? Prepare sales reports and summaries;
  • ? Represent the company with a positive attitude and strong work ethic that will maximize sales and revenue growth.
  • ? Creating relationships with senior-level executives using both inside and outside sales techniques.

Qualifications

  • 1.Eligibility to work in the USA;
  • 2.Valid Driver’s License
  • 3.Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing or equivalent training in business or sales management or related field preferably;
  • 4.Ability to travel as required;
  • 5.They do not require signing a non-compete but they do require a confidentially agreement due to the formulas;
  • 6.10+ years of experience in B2B sales and business development in the beauty and/or skincare & makeup products, including but not limited to skin lotions, creams, serum, lipsticks, OTC sunscreens and color cosmetics, etc.;
  • 7.Proven ability to drive sales, build relationships and excel in new business development;
  • 8.Strong communication (written and oral) and presentation skills;
  • 9.Self-starter and entrepreneurial spirit with hands on, strategic approach to business;
  • 10.Detail-oriented with the ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously from origin through execution.
  • 11.Must have previous experience working for both large and small beauty care companies (i.e. Estee, L’Oreal, Shiseido and small/medium indie brands in East and West);
  • 12.Will manage both new and existing account nationwide. Must have experience managing 15-20MM in sales volume;
  • 13.Demonstrable presentation, selling and communication skills;
  • 14.Thrives in an environment of fast and continuous growth and evolution;
  • 15.Uses creative problem-solving to address challenges;
  • 16.Experience navigating cross-functional team dynamics to elicit response and achieve results;
  • 17.Experienced in using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite;
  • 18,Ability to quickly and amicably respond to changing client needs and conditions;
  • 19.Ability to evaluate, interpret and analyze both written and verbal communication;
  • 20. Forecasting experience and business analysis skills;
  • 21.Competitive drive, balanced with team oriented, positive attitude;
