Job Summary

  • An avid beauty enthusiast - the Product Specialist should be engaged with the latest
  • beauty trends and have a strong interest in the industry, especially the nail category.
  • He/she will help support all stages of Dashing Diva's product dvelopment from start to finish.

Job Description

  • ? Industry Research & Analysis (35%):
  • o Leverage market data and insights to categorize trending colors
  • and designs on a monthly, seasonal, and yearly basis.
  • o Source market leading color samples for product development and
  • design teams (both stateside and overseas).
  • o Support new design research and development for new PD projects,
  • and new product launches for all retail channels.
  • ? Product Development Asset Tracking (25%):
  • o Oversee the organization and maintenance of sample library for
  • both ongoing and completed PD projects.
  • o Keeping abreast of industry/competitive launches and maintaining
  • an up-to-date library of comp products and formulas.
  • ? Operational Support for PD Projects (25%):
  • o Responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining accurate and
  • consistent Bill of Materials (BOM) for all outgoing product orders in a
  • timely fashion.
  • o Effectively communicate with internal Operations team as well as
  • overseas factories.
  • ? Cross Functional Team Support (15%):
  • o Effectively communicate with cross functional teams such as Sales
  • and Marketing.
  • o Support the development of collateral needed by teams to present
  • new launches.

Qualifications

  • ? Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
  • ? 4-7years of experience
  • ? Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud ? InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop,
  • Acrobat DC, etc
  • ? Strong organizational and computer skills required (Microsoft Office: Outlook,
  • Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams)
  • ? Detail oriented/meticulous
  • ? Adaptable and flexible to change, new ideas, and innovative approaches
  • ? Keen eye for design and color
  • ? Must be highly organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
